George and his wife, Susan, are natives and lifelong residents of Portsmouth. Joining Olde Port Properties after retiring from a very successful 30 years in high tech printing and publishing; George worked the last 16 as President/CEO of three profitable international companies ranging from $50M to $300M.
He holds a BA degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and was a featured speaker on “Leadership” for a number of organizations, colleges and universities. George and Jeff Mountjoy established Mountjoy & Carlisle, Inc. in 2009 and purchased Olde Port Properties.
A strong believer in the Arts as a major driver in our quality of life, George has served on Boards for both Seacoast Repertory Theater and Prescott Park Arts Festival. Recently, George was a major fundraiser for the establishment of the beautiful African Burying Ground Memorial Park in Downtown Portsmouth. Today, he and Susan are helping the incredibly talented musical production company, Patrick Dorow Productions, become firmly established on the seacoast.
Specializing in the sale of both residential and commercial properties, George’s key to success is he’s “sold” on the seacoast. “When it comes to quality of life, I know of no place in the world that offers more advantages than Portsmouth, NH and the unique towns and villages that surround it.”
