Hampton, New Hampshire is located along the Atlantic Ocean and is home to Hampton Beach -- which makes up 1/3 of the New Hampshire Coastline. Hampton was one of the first four towns established in New Hampshire, and that history is evident throughout town in historic buildings as well as landmarks. The heart of Hampton's historic district is located along scenic Route 1. You will find plenty of recreation fields, parks, and playgrounds in Hampton as well. Ocean Boulevard, the main street that runs parallel to Hampton Beach, features a boardwalk, shops, seasonal hotels, the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom that hosts national acts, an arcade, and much more.
